Today is the Lunar New Year, celebrated in Asia. 2021 is the Year of the Ox, my sign in the Chinese Zodiac. (I’m an Earth Ox, and this year is designated Metal Ox.)

The 12 signs of the Chinese Zodiac are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. How fitting that 2020 was the Year of the Rat!

People born under the sign of the Ox are known for their honesty, dependability, strength, determination and diligence. Oxes are also supposed to have great patience, but something must have gone wrong with me. Learning patience has been one aspect of my life’s journey. I’m getting better. Honest.
